MBNA PPI CLAIMS

 

MBNA has been a major issuer of credit cards in the UK although its history dates back to dates back to thre Maryland National Bank created in the early twentieth century in the US. Most recently it has been bought by the Lloyds Banking Group. MBNA has had it's fair share of controversies over the years including its financial support for US presdidential candidates, the way that it allocates customer payments who are in debt as well as issues arround the mis-selling of PPI.

How do I claim for MBNA PPI refunds?

MBNA have paid out considerable sums to customers who were missold PPI. They have provided an online claim form that you can use as well as a PPI form download.

If you have moved house, you may well need to make a separate claim relating to each address that you have lived at.

You will also need to provide information of the product which you are claiming against ie account numbers and dates.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Beware of using downloadable forms if they are from an insecure site. You don't need to download our forms - just copy and paste the text into your own Word Document.

When you make your PPI claim against MBNA make sure that you remember to keep a copy and it's always best to send it by registered post.

MBNA say that they will respond within one week. If you do not hear with the outcome of your claim from MBNA within 8 weeks or if you feel your claim has not been dealt with fairly you should contact the financial ombudsman.

If a complaint is upheld, the refund will include a reimbursement of all insurance premiums paid, interest on those premiums and, where applicable, interest at 8%.
